Dida is a multidisciplinary creative whose works are mainly set in art direction and Street dance. Dida comes from Slovakia and now lives in Athens. She lived in different countries and had learnt from one of the best teachers/dancers which had likely played a pivotal role in shaping her skills and passion. She studied urban styles in Åsa folkhögskola in Sweden and cultural studies in Slovakia. Her main styles are Hip hop, Locking and House dance but she loves to learn and study also other dances. She doesn't close herself into one style, because she loves the limitlessness of movement and music. For her, dance has been a gift of self-expression, freedom and boundless joy since a very young age. From theatre form to digging into improvisation (freestyle) and deeper understanding of urban styles. She is a member and project coordinator of HipHop4Hope in Athens and this journey led her to connect dance, music, art with the humanitarian sector of our society. Dida's cultural background and the fusion of influences from different places likely contribute to the uniqueness of her artistic expression.
