Anastasia Gartvik is a dancer and physical theatre performer, driven by a desire to merge movement,
emotion, and narrative into a cohesive artistic language. Her creative process is rooted in improvisation,
listening, and the search for physical truth rather than fixed form. She has performed and created
independent projects in Russia, including live performances as well as video works. She has collaborated
with Maneken Theater and the MosArt Cultural Center in Moscow, and recently premiered her solo
performance Echo. Among her interdisciplinary projects is collaboration with Soyuzmultfilm involving
motion capture work.
